This Biogeographic Analysis Package provides summary information about a specific level three Omernik Ecoregion. Name, area (in acres), and a summary are provided.

Relative condition of fish habitat in streams of the Pacific Coast States. Histogram shows percentage of total stream length in each condition class.
The Ocean Biogeographic Information System (OBIS) provides the global database of marine biological observations and measurements linked with environmental data. This analysis uses the geographic areas (exclusive economic zones) summarized by OBIS and uses the OBIS Application Programming Interface. This provisional Biogeographic Analysis Package summarizes the most reported species within each exclusive economic zone observed and reported to the OBIS. The numbers reported are actual presence observations, meaning the absence records are excluded from the summary. Species were compiled by scientific name and aggregated by the class level of the taxonomic hierarchy for summarization purposes.
This Biogeographic Analysis Package provides an analysis of protection status for ecological systems within Omernik Level III or IV Ecoregions, states, counties and Landscape Conservation Cooperatives. The ecological system classification defines groups of plant communities that tend to co-occur within landscapes with similar ecological processes, substrates, and/or environmental gradients and is the primary map class used in the Gap Analysis Program (GAP) land cover layer (based on 2001 satellite imagery). This package can be used to identify the ecoregions where ecological systems have the greatest representation in GAP Status 1 and 2 lands (lands managed for the protection of biodiversity) and the ecoregions...
This analysis summarizes (in acres) the type of landcover that falls within the user-selected area of interest. The hierarchy level displayed in this summary table is based on the classification level selected in the map.

Relative condition of fish habitat in streams of the Eastern Gulf of Mexico States. Histogram shows percentage of total stream length in each condition class.

Map of the risk of current fish habitat degradation of Northern Gulf of Mexico estuaries.
NVCS data hierarchy for the point clicked on the map. The highlighted level corresponds to the layer that is turned on in the Analysis Package.

Map of the risk of current fish habitat degradation of inland streams of the Mid-Atlantic States region.
Purpose This provisional Biogeographic Analysis Package provides a comparison between the annual Spring Indices First Leaf and First Bloom within the user-selected area of interest. Change in the timing of seasonal biological events (phenology – e.g., leaf-out, migration, and reproduction) is one of the most proximate responses to climate change. Information on phenological changes supports managers in adjusting the timing of activities such as treating invasive species, operating visitor facilities, and scheduling climate-related events (e.g., flower festivals, autumn leaf-viewing). Recent work shows that 53% of natural resource parks managed by the United States National Park Service are experiencing extremely...
Sage-grouse habitat resilience and resistance matrix based on resilience and resistance concepts from Chambers et al. (2014a, b, in press), and GRSG breeding habitat probabilities from Doherty et al. (in press). Rows show the ecosystem’s relative resilience to disturbance andresistance to invasive annual grasses (1 = high resilience and resistance; 2 = moderate resilience and resistance; 3 = low resilience and resistance). Resilience and resistance categories were derived from soil temperature and moisture regimes (see Appendix 2; Maestas et al. 2016) and relate to the sagebrush ecological types in table 6. Columns show the landscape-scale sagegrouse breeding habitat probability based on table 7 (A = 0.25 to < 0.5...

Purpose This provisional Biogeographic Analysis Package provides an analysis of an annual Spring Index, First Bloom, within the user-selected area of interest. Relative condition of fish habitat in streams of the Central Mississippi River States. Histogram shows percentage of total stream length in each condition class.
This provisional Biogeographic Analysis Package provides an analysis of protection status for ecological systems within Omernik Level III Ecoregions. The ecological system classification defines groups of plant communities that tend to co-occur within landscapes with similar ecological processes, substrates, and/or environmental gradients and is the primary map class used in the Gap Analysis Program (GAP) land cover layer (based on 2001 satellite imagery). This package can be used to identify the ecoregions where ecological systems have the greatest representation in GAP Status 1 and 2 lands (lands managed for the protection of biodiversity) and the ecoregions where ecological systems are the least protected....
