The tabular data sets and associated maps in this data release represent water-quality data that were collected between April and November of 2017 and between July and November of 2019 to describe baseline conditions prior to or sometimes following treatments using herbicides or other methods to reduce the biomass of non-native water primrose (Ludwigia) within off-channel water bodies of the Willamette River near Albany and Keizer, Oregon. The water-quality parameters measured in this study included water temperature, specific conductance, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, total chlorophyll, phycocyanin (blue-green algae pigment), and fluorescing dissolved organic matter in surface water.

This data release contains analytical results of organohalogenated compounds and mercury in lamprey and sediment that were collected from rivers in Oregon and along the Pacific northwest coast from 2017 to 2021. In 2017, 20 lamprey were collected off the Washington and Oregon coasts by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. These ocean-caught juvenile lamprey were parasitizing targeted fish and were bycatch. In 2019, larval lamprey were collected by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs of Oregon from 8 sites on the Warm Springs Reservation. Larval lamprey were collected by electroshocking depositional sediment areas. Collocated depositional sediment samples also were collected along with the larval...

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) compiled data from a variety of national and state agencies to create a comprehensive dataset of streamflow and stage for the lower Columbia River basin and the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and northern California. Seasonal maximum values were calculated for streamflow and stage for the winter (November–March) and spring (April–July) flow seasons, as well as for the full water year (October-September) when underlying data were available.
