This is a child item of the USGS Data Release: https://doi.org/10.5066/F7K072DR. This dataset includes zooplankton biomass from Prince William Sound, Icy Bay and Yakutat Bay, Alaska. Zooplankton were sampled with a ring net (0.6 m diameter with 211 µ mesh) on a 50 m vertical haul or to within 5 m of the bottom in shallow water. Zooplankton samples were identified to species and life stage when possible.

This is a child item of the USGS Data Release: https://doi.org/10.5066/F74J0C9Z One table with data used to validate aerial fish surveys in Prince William Sound, Alaska. Data includes: date, location, latitude, longitude, aerial ID, validation ID, total length and validation method. Various catch methods were used to obtain fish samples for aerial validations, including: cast net, go pro, hydroacoustics, jig, dip net, gill net, purse seine, photo and visual identification. This is a child item of the USGS Data Release: https://doi.org/10.5066/F7K072DR. This dataset contains catch data from trawls at the sampling stations. We deployed a modified herring trawl in coastal waters within glacier fjords of Alaska. Sampling stations in each fjord were chosen randomly from a 2.5 x 2.5 km grid overlaid on navigable waters in the fjord. The number of stations in each fjord was chosen to achieve a sampling frequency of about 1 sample per 15 km^2, and was based on available resources and logistical constraints (weather, navigational hazards and vessel time).

These data are part of the Gulf Watch Alaska (GWA) long-term monitoring program and contain diet data from Black-legged Kittiwakes (BLKI), Rhinoceros Auklets (RHAU), and Tufted puffins (TUPU) located on Middleton Island in the Gulf of Alaska. This data release consists of seabird diet sample data and prey identification and morphometrics. Version History: First release: March 2023 Revised: October 2024 (ver. 2.0)

This data release includes 2 child items with tracking data for Kittlitz's Murrelets, a rare seabird species that nests solitarily on the ground in barren, often alpine areas near the North Pacific and Bering Sea. Child Item 1: "Argos Satellite Tracking Data for Kittlitz's Murrelets (Brachyramphus brevirostris) - Processed Data" Quality-controlled data collected from Argos satellite transmitters. Child Item 2: "Argos Satellite Tracking Data for Kittlitz's Murrelets (Brachyramphus brevirostris) - Raw Data" All raw data collected from Argos satellite transmitters, provided for completeness of the archive. The "Argos Processed Data" (Child Item 1) are better suited for most analytical purposes.
