A study commissioned by the Utah Division of Water Quality and the Colorado Water Quality Control Division. Study was carried out by Utah State University. The overarching goal of the study was to conduct a comprehensive search and synthesis of existing records on the historical and current presence of ammonia-sensitive freshwater mussels (Superfamily Unionoidea) and non-pulmonate snails (Valvatidae, Hydrobiidae) in Utah and Colorado. In addition to these targeted species, other species belonging to Class Bivalvia and freshwater Gastropoda were also included.
