This vector polygon feature class was developed from the Upper Midwest & Great Lakes Landscape Conservation Cooperative's Coastal Conservation Working Group (CCWG) "Designing the Coastal Wetlands of Tomorrow" September 6th, 2017 stakeholder workshop. The polygon features represent potential areas of coastal wetland opportunities and were derived from paper maps marked up by workshop participants that they believed to be areas of opportunity for coastal wetland protection (maintain and protect current wetlands), restoration (add wetlands or increase size of a wetland), or enhancement (improve the quality of a wetland).
