This shapefile is the official boundary of the California Fish Passage Forum. The boundary was originally developed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and was updated in 2013 to reflect revisions from the California Fish Passage Forum, a recognized Fish Habitat Partnership (FHP) of the National Fish Habitat Partnership.

This dataset was replaced in 2020 with data services. The DOI now points to the newest and recommended version of this information. This shapefile displays and describes National Fish Habitat Partnership project locations. The included projects were extracted from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Fisheries Information Structure (FIS) on July 2013. Project centerpoints were verified and corrected as needed by Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission staff where data were available by comparing location descriptions in the project attributes with satellite imagery.
