This map service contains weather stations for the US provided by National Weather Service (NWS) for user community use. The GIS layer was created by defining the geographic location for each observed weather stations found on NOAA National Weather Stations website(http://forecast.weather.gov/stations.php?foo=0). The layer is also HTML Popup enabled through linking to observation history web page for each station. This GIS layer was created on June 2010
