Purpose

Individual 7.5-minute quadrangle sections were mosaiced together into a single comprehensive polygon shapefile for easy display and accurate overlay. The final layer was re-projected to UTM NAD 83. This data set has been and will continue to be used to determine the zoning category of properties within the Adirondack Park, as well as for other types of analysis and display.
