Summary

The Nacatoch Sand in northeastern and Arkansas, is sources of groundwater for agricultural, domestic, industrial, and public use Clay and Green Counties. Water-level altitudes measured in 12 wells completed in the Nacatoch Sand and were used to create a potentiometric-surface map. Potentiometric surfaces show that groundwater in the Nacatoch aquifer flows southeast toward the Mississippi River in northeastern Arkansas. This shapefiled depicts the generalized extent of the Northeast Nacatoch aquifer.
