Feasibility of Using UMRR Land Cover Data to Map Delta Formations in Backwaters of the Upper Mississippi River: Scripts

This Python script creates a shapefile containing features that are deltas. Data inputs: LCU data for 1989, 2000, and 2010 for Pools 3 through 13 (https://doi.org/10.5066/F77M0771, F73X85X2, F77942QN); Aquatic Area Level 2 data for Pools 3 through 13 (http://dx.doi.org/10.5066/F7VD6WH8). Pre-script procedures: Setup a tool in an ArcMap toolbox to call the script. Change directory names as needed in script. Intersect the three LCU datasets for all pools. Critical processing steps of script: 1. Remap attributes into three LCU classes (0 = Salix and Wm, 1=land, 2=water). 2.
