Purpose

The purpose of the reach-scale surveys was to map fine-scale habitat attributed associated with the survey section where the fish survey were conducted while the purpose of the continuous surveys was to map the "wettedness" of the entire stream at the watershed scale (~18 km) to get course idea of the habitat available for coho salmon juveniles at various time periods throughout the summer.
