Summary

This dataset includes input and output data from streamflow and water-quality regression models used to characterize streamflow and water-quality conditions in the Upper Yampa River Basin, Colorado from 1999-2018. All input data, including discrete and continuous streamflows and discrete concentrations of suspended sediment, Kjeldahl nitrogen, and total phosphorus, were compiled from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Water Information System (NWIS) database. Purpose

These data were compiled to assess streamflow and water-quality conditions in the Upper Yampa River Basin, Colorado. Data can be used by resource managers for decision making related to land use and water use and to evaluate changes in streamflow and water-quality. Data users are advised to read the metadata record and the report identified as the ‘Larger Work Citation’ to have a complete understanding of how these data were created and used. The data are specific to the uses identified above, as described in the ‘Larger Work Citation’.
