Purpose

This project aims to use a small team led by one main point of contact to fulfill Embassy Bangkok’s Science Fellowship request to promote Mekong River basin resiliency. The Embassy Bangkok fellow will lead a small team of 2-4 researchers with expertise in fisheries and climate science to fulfill the two main objectives outlined in the request: (1) to help Mekong communities build resiliency in light of unpredictable and fluctuating river levels; and (2) apply scientific and innovative methods to help address the Mekong River basin’s environmental and economic challenges.
