Album Caption: Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. These arcuate end moraines of a former small cirque glacier are the type locality of the McNeeley Drift. The cirque is on the north slope of the Sourdough Mountains seven-tenths of a kilometer south of McNeeley Peak and almost directly north of the Sunrise Visitor Center at Yakima Park. Pumice layer R, which is more than 8,750 years old, overlies the outermost McNeeley moraine at this locality. Circa 1964. Pierce County, Washington.
