Purpose

Streamflow observation data were collected from multiple sources throughout the Pacific Northwest to help us study how streamflow permanence is affected by climatic and physical factors. The streamflow observation data were used in conjunction with explanatory variables to develop a Random Forest classification model to predict the annual probability of streamflow permanence throughout the Pacific Northwest from 2004-2016.
