The purpose of this study is to provide a spatial data set representing the agricultural irrigated land-use for DeSoto County, Florida for the period between November 2017 and September 2018. Spatial data was were prepared as part of a cooperative study between the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) in an effort to field-verify each irrigated field and to provide a set of attributes to each field, including crop type, current irrigation system, and the primary water source.
