Summary

In this database, we compile and host several available onshore and offshore geologic, paleoseismic, geophysical, and instrumental datasets along the Cascadia subduction zone. The ScienceBase data release and downloadable map package is accompanied by an ArcGIS online map and StoryMap.

Purpose

As part of the USGS Powell Center working group on Cascadia earthquake hazards, we compile available geologic, paleoseismic, geophysical, and instrumental datasets along the Cascadia subduction zone. The purpose of this compilation is to bring together these abundant and disparate datasets in a single place. Users can find primary data available for download in the layer metadata files or in the layer attributes.
