Summary
USGS personnel surveyed bumble bees and flowering plants on private and public lands in Central Montana during the spring and summer of 2023 and 2024. These data provide a summary of what was found, including the number of bumble bees caught during standardized netting surveys and a comprehensive list of all plants in flower within survey plots during each site visit. Purpose
These data were collected in collaboration with the Bureau of Land Management and private land owners to better understand connections among grazing, environmental context, and pollinator species on Montana rangelands.
