This study deployed acoustic telemetry at the Fox River Navigational System Authority (FRNSA) in lock #2 and the upstream and downstream pools in Kaukauna, WI to document movements and behavior of telemetered fish species in response to injection of carbon dioxide. Telemetry equipment was setup in the test area for approximately 2 months during the summer of 2019. CSV metadata includes telemetry data with position estimates for fish during this time.
This study evaluated carbon dioxide (CO2) injected into water as a possible behavioral stimulant to enhance capture and removal of invasive red swamp crayfish (RSC, Procambarus clarkii Girard, 1852) from a retention pond in southeastern Michigan. Objectives of this study were to (1) determine if target CO2 concentrations were attainable within the infested pond, and (2) determine if CO2 treatment was effective to push RSC towards shorelines or onto dry land where they could be collected and removed. Carbon dioxide was applied directly into one treatment pond (~2,500 m3) in Novi, MI. Two nearby ponds in Livonia, MI were used as untreated control ponds. Crayfish removal efficiency was evaluated in all ponds using...

The dataset was generated to verify the suitability of the new TFM bar formulation for wide-scale use in the Sea Lamprey Control Program (SLCP). Dataset includes TFM concentrations of three streams (each used twice) where randomized experimental applications of new and old TFM bar formulation dissolution trials were conducted, TFM concentrations of 12 laboratory flume experimental applications of new and old TFM bar formulation dissolution trials, various collected water chemistry parameters, % Active ingredient data from both new and old TFM bar formulation under normal storage and elevated temperature storage conditions, and bar hardness data from both new and old TFM bar formulation under normal storage and elevated...
