Report is divided into two major sections. In the first section, an overiew of the Delta area is provided. Included is a description of the Delta, Board of Fisheries activities, and information pertaining to management, stocking, research, and access program activities. In the second section, a more detailed summary of each fishery is provided, including management concerns identified. Included in these summaries are: a fishery description; fishery management objectives; a description of recent performance of the fishery; a description of recent Board of Fishery actions related to the fishery, a discussion of social or biological issues that may be associated with each fishery, a summary of current research and...
Report is divided into two sections. In Section I, an introductory overview of the Upper Copper/Upper Susitna River Management Area is presented, including: a general geographic and organizational description of the management area; an inventory of the available fishery resources; an overview of the Alaska Board of Fisheries activities; a historical perspective of recreational angler effort and harvest; a discussion of the economic value of the recreational fisheries; and a summary of the current major fishery and social issues in the management area.
