This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) data release provides the descriptions of the only U.S. sites—including mineral regions, mineral occurrences, and mine features—that have reported production and (or) resources of gallium (Ga). The sites in this data release have contained resource and (or) past production of more than 16 metric tons Ga metal, which was the approximate average annual consumption of Ga in the U.S. from 2016 through 2020. This dataset contains the Round Top deposit in Texas and the Apex deposit in Utah. Sediment hosted gold deposits in Nevada were first mined in the 1960s from open pit mines with large tonnage and low grade resources. Since that time, continuing exploration and discovery have identified extraordinary resources, and together these deposits now form the second-largest gold endowment on Earth, surpassed only by the Witwatersrand Gold Fields of South Africa. This data provides locations and technical specifications of the current version of the United States Wind Turbines database. Each release, typically done quarterly, updates the database with newly installed wind turbines, removes wind turbines that have been identified as dismantled, and applies other verifications based on updated imagery and ongoing quality-control. Over 4,400 large scale commercial solar facilities are in operation in the United States as of December, 2021, representing over 60 gigawatts of electric power capacity; of these, over 3,900 are ground-mounted with capacities of 1MW or more, specified as large scale solar photovoltaic (LSPV) facilities. This data release contains land cover-derived statistics regarding estuarine vegetated wetland area change within estuary drainage areas along the conterminous U.S. This dataset includes net change in estuarine vegetated wetland area based on National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Coastal Change Assessment Program (C-CAP) 1996 and 2016 land cover data. This data release pertains to a seepage investigation and dye tracing study conducted in the Big Creek watershed of Newton County, Arkansas. The seepage dataset includes geospatial files of discharge measurement points and zero-flow observations along with vector lines delineating losing and gaining stream reaches. The remnants of Hurricane Ida produced significant rainfall over the five boroughs of New York City (NYC) for several hours on September 1st, 2021. The long-duration, high-intensity rainfall resulted in extensive inundation of streets, buildings, subways, and other public spaces. Conservation rank data for each drainage catchments in the Upper Colorado River Basin. Some smaller catchments were not ranked. Catchments are the drainage area (local watersheds) for each individual stream segment within the 1:100,000 scale National Hydrography Plus Version 1 (NHDPlusV1) dataset. The NHDplus catchments have been ranked (valued) based on the representation of native fish species given the threats to their persistence (i.e., non-native fish species, land use, and habitat fragmentation). Alamagan Volcano is a Quaternary stratovolcano along the Mariana Arc, an active subduction zone in the western Pacific Ocean. Although primarily submerged, its peak reaches above sea level, with subaerially-exposed volcanic deposits dating back through the Holocene to the late Pleistocene. These feature data represent such deposits and other geologic features of Alamagan Volcano, describing its interpreted eruptive history.

Recent data syntheses have clarified future relative sea-level rise exposure and sensitivity thresholds for drowning. We integrated these advances to estimate when and where rising sea levels could cross thresholds for initiating wetland drowning across the conterminous United States. We evaluated three sea-level rise thresholds for wetland drowning (4, 7, and 10 mm/yr). Our study area spans the coastal conterminous United States, which includes Washington, D.C. and 22 coastal states along the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and Atlantic Ocean. This dataset contains an inventory of landslides in many of the most landslide-prone parts of Minnesota. This project was created to improve our understanding of the landslide hazard in Minnesota and to provide a nearly statewide base map of landslide data. Multispectral remote sensing data acquired by the Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) sensor were analyzed using a new, automated technique to generate a map of exposed mineral and vegetation groups in the western San Juan Mountains, Colorado and the Four Corners Region of the United States (Rockwell and others, 2021). Spectral index (e.g. band-ratio) results were combined into displayed mineral and vegetation groups using Boolean algebra. New analysis logic has been implemented to exploit the coastal aerosol band in Landsat 8 OLI data and identify concentrations of iron sulfate minerals. These results may indicate the presence of near-surface pyrite, which can be a potential non-point source of acid rock drainage....
These map service layers provide information for projects funded and supported by the 20 regional fish habitat partnerships. Projects funded and supported since 2006 are represented in the service layer and the data are expected to be updated annually. Projects in the database range from on-the-ground restoration, partnership coordination, outreach and education events, and species distribution and habitat assessments.

Reported values of interest included specific conductance, total dissolved solids, and chloride (Cl) concentration; other parameters and major/trace element concentrations were included if reported.
