This part of DS 781 presents data for bathymetric contours for several seafloor maps of the Offshore of Point Conception Map Area, California. Spatial associations between marked sage-grouse and existing PMU boundaries were used as an initial starting point for delineating subregions for habitat selection analyses and naming conventions across Nevada and northeastern California. Ultimately, the data were partitioned into 19 subregions based on movement patterns of individual radio-marked sage-grouse for habitat analyses, with each grouse occupying one subregion only. Some subregions contained too few marked sage-grouse for sufficient training data to develop a habitat model, which resulted in the exclusion of seven subregions with fewer than 20 marked sage-grouse or less than 100 telemetry locations. This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Data Release provides derivative statistics of water used by Kansas irrigators in the Kansas irrigation water-use analysis regions. The polygon (vector) shapefiles represent Public Land Survey System (PLSS) sections, or 1-square mile areas of land, with information about Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land and mineral use authorizations for oil and gas. The land areas specified by BLM authorizations vary in size and orientation, and may cross one or more PLSS section boundaries. For spatial consistency, the information was aggregated to the square mile PLSS section boundary. The original source data from BLM Cases Recordation database (LR2000) were specific to the day they were generated (March 6, 2016) and subsequent data pulls will likely be different.

This dataset contains data collected within limestone cedar glades at Stones River National Battlefield (STRI) near Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This dataset contains measurements of soil respiration at certain quadrat locations (points) within 12 selected cedar glades. Water-surface elevation measurements were collected in March 2015 along the upper Willamette River, Oregon, between Eugene to Corvallis. These surveys were collected over a small range of discharges using a real time kinematic global positioning system (RTK-GPS) on a motorboat traveling "on plane" along the river. These datasets were collected for equipment calibration and validation for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite mission. This is one of multiple survey datasets that will be released for this effort.
