See the documents “Pacific Lamprey Entosphenus tridentatus Assessment 2018” (https://www.sciencebase.gov/catalog/item/53b04dade4b0616e8bce5217) for complete information. These data were the results of the assessment and were used to create the maps found in the documents. NatureServe and its member programs and collaborators use a suite of factors to assess the extinction or extirpation (regional extinction) risk of plants, animals, and ecosystems (or “elements” of biodiversity). By researching and recording information on a set of factors, biologists can assign a conservation rank to these elements at both global and regional (i.e., national/subnational) scales. The protocol for assigning a conservation rank...

Known observations and distribution of Pacific Lamprey for Oregon, Washington, and Idaho from the Columbia River Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office managed database on behalf of the PLCI. Observation data includes points for Lampetra species when information provided. Current as of December 2020. Older datasets can be found in the archived data folder. Files available for download: Service Definition file (if downloaded files need to be extracted to then open in desktop programs) Zipped ESRI File Geodatabase, Zipped Shapefiles Layer files for ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro Google Earth kmz files Metadata Online interactive map with these datasets are available: AGOL: DataBasin: https://databasin.org/datasets/a243fb1346ca4258b6388c5f7a90aee4

This map was developed to examine multi-scale spatial relationships between percentage of sagebrush and other response variables of interest. A map of sagebrush in the western United States was used as a base layer for a moving window analysis to calculate the percentage of the area classified as sagebrush within a 5-km search radius. Provides 5-km scale proportion of sagebrush land cover for use in examining multi-scale relationships.

This data set was updated with WY updated historic range from the "WyomingHistoricRange2014.shp" data provided by Tom Christiansen on March 4th, 2016. The Sage-Grouse Coordinator, Sage-Grouse GIS Analyst, and several Wyoming Game and Fish Department biologists updated the 2004 version of Wyoming’s sage-grouse historic and current occupied habitat maps. ESRI file geodatabase of greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) range-wide breeding densities at 25% (BreedingDensity25), 50% (BreedingDensity50), 75% (BreedingDensity75) and 100% (BreedingDensity100) of breeding population. The objective of this BLM project is to map high breeding densities of greater sage-grouse for use in conservation planning. This completion report provides two deliverables: 1) The analytical framework for evaluating options on where partners can deliver actions that will yield the highest return on their conservation investment, and 2) The GIS shapefiles delineating high breeding densities of sage-grouse for use by conservation planners. Maps developed here provide a large-scale view...

This map was developed to show the distribution of human influence in the western United States. This dataset was developed from the Human Footprint inthe western United States (Leu et al. 2008) in order to ease the interpretation of humand footprint comparisons. Provides the distirubtion of 3 human foorpint instensity class in the western United States

Vegetation and land cover data for Ellicott Slough NWR. This dataset was generated through interpretation of high resolution (1m spatial resolution) aerial photography from the National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP) , acquired in the summer of 2009. Field sampling was conducted in March 2010 to inform the interpretation process, but no formal classifcation accuracy assessment was conducted.

The LANDFIRE Data Distribution Site is the geospatial data gateway to search, browse, and download LANDFIRE data. The Data Distribution Site directs you to the LANDFIRE Viewer, where you can view the 30-meter resolution layers, metadata, and descriptions. This viewer provides assorted tools allowing the ability to interact and manipulate any data displayed within the viewer. Data extents are defined by dragging an extent or defining coordinates. All LANDFIRE data are free and available to everyone. The default download is an ESRI grid raster format with attributes and includes metadata in a zipped file. Options to specify different data formats and projections are available through the viewer's Modify Data Request...

This dataset depicts staffed visitor stations within the Pacific Southwest Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Staffed visitor stations may be refuge offices that are open to the public during specified hours, or may be dedicated visitor centers. This dataset does not include kiosks or other areas which contain information for visitors but are not staffed. The locations of these stations are based on the USFWS Corporate Master Table, with additional editing and updates based on the input of field and visitor services staff.

This data layer defines Pacific Southwest Region endangered species office leads for species consultations and support. This data was defined based on an internal 2014 US Fish and Wildlife Serviceas inter-office Memorandums of Understanding. This boundary generally reflects which individual offices will have jurisdiction for endangered species consultations and support.
