Biogeographic Information System This is an experimental collection that implements an information model for biogeographic information. We are building this on the conceptual foundation from the Global Change Information System. We are using the Biogeographic Information System, accessed via the ScienceBase API, as a basis to drive an experimental new map interface (National Biogeographic Map) and a developing iterative report concept (National Biodiversity Assessment).
