The datasets in these child pages are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of annual air temperature data for the years 2000 through 2016 in the Pacific Northwest. Source temperature data was produced by the PRISM Climate Group at Oregon State University.
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of normal (average) first-of-month snow water equivalent data for March through August, averaged across all years, 2004 through 2016, in the Pacific Northwest. Source snow water equivalent data was produced by the Snow Data Assimilation System (SNODAS) at the National Snow and Ice Data Center.
This dataset is a continuous parameter grid (CPG) of normal (average) annual precipitation data for the years 1981 through 2010 in the Pacific Northwest. Source precipitation data was produced by the PRISM Climate Group at Oregon State University.
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of permeability (and impermeability) of surface geology in the Pacific Northwest. Source data come from work by Chris Konrad, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and geologic map databases produced by USGS scientists.
This dataset is a continuous parameter grid (CPG) of baseflow index values (percent of discharge as baseflow) estimated at U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) streamgages in the Pacific Northwest. Source data was produced by David Wolock of USGS.

This data release contains a shapefile of riparian vegetation communities attributed with information on trends in satellite-estimates of vegetation productivity for the period from 2000-2020. Cloud-masked Landsat data were processed from 2000 to 2020 to generate a 21-year growing season (June, July, and August) time series combining data from Landsat 5 (2000-2011), Landsat 7 (2012), and Landsat 8 (2013-2020). We computed the near-infrared reflectance of vegetation (NIRv) which is strongly correlated to vegetation Gross Primary Productivity (GPP). We analyzed growing season time series trends in NIRv by riparian vegetation type at the polygon-level using the Theil-Sen estimator (aka Sen's slope). In addition to...

Extensive groundwater withdrawal from the unconsolidated deposits in the San Joaquin Valley caused widespread aquifer-system compaction and resultant land subsidence from 1926 to 1970—locally exceeding 8.5 meters. The importation of surface water beginning in the early 1950s through the Delta-Mendota Canal and in the early 1970s through the California Aqueduct resulted in decreased groundwater pumping, recovery of water levels, and a reduced rate of compaction in some areas of the San Joaquin Valley. However, drought conditions during 1976–77, 1987–92, and drought conditions and operational reductions in surface-water deliveries during 2007–10 decreased surface-water availability, causing pumping to increase, water...

This dataset includes stream temperatures from two data loggers installed at one site in the Little Blitzen River of SE Oregon as part of a redband trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss gairdnerii) study. The site was used as an undisturbed reference in comparison with similar temperature monitoring sites in the Willow-Whitehorse watershed that experienced a 2012 fire that burned nearly the entire watershed.
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of soil data in the Pacific Northwest. Datasets include available water capacity, depth to water table, hydrologic soil group percentage, and soil component (e.g., clay, silt, sand) percentage. Source data come from the Digital General Soil Map of the United States, produced by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, United States Department of Agriculture.
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of total annual precipitation data for the years 2000 through 2016 in the Pacific Northwest. One 30-year normal (average) annual precipitation grid from the period 1981-2010 is also included. Source precipitation data was produced by the PRISM Climate Group at Oregon State University.
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of annual mean daily minimum air temperature data for the years 2000 through 2016 in the Pacific Northwest. One 30-year normal (average) annual minimum temperature grid from the period 1981-2010 is also included. Source temperature data was produced by the PRISM Climate Group at Oregon State University.
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of irrigated agriculture data (percent of basin classified as irrigated) for the years 2002, 2007, and 2012 in the Pacific Northwest. Source data was the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) Irrigated Agriculture Dataset for the United States (MIrAD-US), produced by USGS.

A study designed to measure concentrations of glyphosate, aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA, a product of glyphosate degradation in the environment), and several neonicotinoids in selected urban and agricultural streams located in the Lake Champlain Basin of Vermont was conducted in the spring, summer, and fall of 2021. These pesticides are of concern due to their widespread use (Baker, 2018) and potentially adverse ecological and human-health effects (Hladik and others, 2018; Medalie and others, 2020). Water samples were collected from Rock River near Highgate Center, Vt; Stevens Brook near St. Albans, Vt; Englesby Brook in Burlington, Vt; Potash Brook in Burlington, Vt; and the City of Burlington, Vt wastewater...
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of topography data in the Pacific Northwest. Datasets include stream slope, basin slope, elevation, contributing area, and topographic wetness index. Source data come from the U.S. Geological Survey National Elevation Dataset.

These data represent stem growth, needle length growth, and carbon stable isotope ratios from whitebark pine at 27 sites in the Sierra Nevada of California. Values for stem growth were derived from increment cores, processed following standard methods. Needle characteristics were captured for individual trees across all years needles were present on the internodes. Needle length was measured in the lab for three healthy needles per tree and initiation year. For stable carbon isotopes, samples were pulverized in the lab and then were sent to the Analytical Laboratory at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) for weighing and encapsulation. Carbon and nitrogen isotopic values were estimated by the Stable Isotope...
These datasets are continuous parameter grids (CPG) of monthly mean evapotranspiration data for March through September, years 2005 through 2009, in the Pacific Northwest. Source evapotranspiration data was produced using the operational Simplified Surface Energy Balance (SSEBop) model.
