This dataset includes input and output data from streamflow and water-quality regression models used to characterize streamflow and water-quality conditions in the Upper White River Basin, Colorado, from 2000 to 2020. All input data, including discrete and continuous streamflow records and discrete concentrations of inorganic nitrogen, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus, were compiled from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Water Information System (NWIS) database. Compressional- (P-) wave seismic refraction data were acquired in December 2018 and July 2019 along fourteen profiles within the spillway of Success Dam in Porterville, California. A new concrete ogee weir is planned for construction within the existing spillway, and the P-wave seismic velocity models will be used to inform further geotechnical investigations, including siting new geologic borings, and the advanced engineering design phases in terms of rock rippability and relative rock hardness/competency. This U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) data release provides the data used to predict areas with the greatest probability of ephemeral stream channel instability on north side of the Grand Valley in western Colorado, during 2018-20. The USGS developed a method for automatically extracting channel cross-section geometry from existing remotely sensed terrain models. Based on estimated flood stage and surrogate streamflows, hydraulic characteristics were calculated. Potentially suitable habitat for the American burying beetle (Nicrophorus americanus) was identified within the Southern Plains. The American burying beetle (ABB) is listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act, but in 2019 the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed to reclassify this species as threatened. This is a dataset containing the first and second record of georeferenced observations of introduced and invasive vascular plant species in the contiguous United States (CONUS). Non-native plant species were identified using the United States Register of Introduced and Invasive Species (US-RIIS) list. After identifying a list of plants non-native to CONUS, we obtained presence data from aggregated occurrence databases, ensuring the occurrences we acquired were georeferenced (i.e., had coordinate information) and had an observation year recorded.
