Create an inventory of water-related models that have been developed for the Rio Grande/Bravo basin. The summary includes a description of model river extent, spatial and temporal resolution, time period, model type, and their possible application for testing environmental flows or climate change future alternatives.

The Rio Grande-Rio Bravo River is the second longest river in the US and is a critical drinking water source for more than 13 million people. It flows south from the snowcapped mountains of Colorado to the New Mexico desert and forms the western border between Texas and Mexico. The multi-national, multi-state, ecologically diverse nature of this river makes management of the resource a complex task, especially in the context of more frequent droughts, changes in land use patterns, and increasing water use needs. To discuss these and other critical issues throughout the basin, the South Central Climate Science Center participated in a forum planned by the Desert Landscape Conservation Cooperative and other partners....
This is one of five general categories that contains the water management elements on the Rio Grande/Bravo basin. This category includes the dams, water districts, and water related models on the United States and Mexico that overlap the basin boundary.

This is one of five general categories that contain the water related elements of the Rio Grande/Bravo basin. This category includes the land use and cover of the United States and Mexico that are located within the basin boundary. Under this category a digital elevation model for the basin is also included as well as the major soils within the basin.

This project inventories and reviews available water resource models used to meet multiple (and often competing) water resource management objectives. Water resource modeling tools have been developed for many different regions and sub-basins of the Rio Grande/Bravo (RGB). Each of these tools have specific objectives, whether it is to explore drought mitigation alternatives, conflict resolution, climate change evaluation, tradeoff and economic synergies, water allocation, reservoir operations, or collaborative planning. We specifically evaluate the applicability of those models to evaluating trade-offs in meeting societal and environmental flow requirements to recover native ecosystems. This work communicates the...
This is one of five general categories that contain the water related elements of the Rio Grande/Bravo basin. This category includes boundaries of the United States and Mexico as well as the States, Counties, and Municipalities that overlap with the basin boundary. This category includes also the extent and location of the cities within the basin and the current and historic population of such cities.

Rio Bravo,
This is one of five general categories that contain the water related elements of the Rio Grande/Bravo basin. This category includes some of hydrologic and climatic components of the United States and Mexico that overlap with the basin boundary. The vector datasets under this category are the main rivers, water bodies, monitoring points, watershed boundaries. Regarding the raster data sets, the category includes incofmation on average monthly precipitation, temperature and evapotranspiration on the basin
