This application enables you to compare estuaries to each other along the coastlines of Washington, Oregon, and California. You can combine dynamic filters and an interactive map to find specific estuary types you are interested in, such as large river delta estuaries which often have extensive diking; small, riverine estuaries that are at the lowest risk to fish habitat degradation; or estuaries contain species that interest you. Only want to compare estuaries in a specific area? Simply zoom the map in to that area, and the filters automatically update to show you the number of estuaries in that area that meet different conditions. You can also explore estuaries in more detail to find a specific estuary by name...

This shapefile contains landscape factors representing human disturbances summarized to local and network catchments of river reaches for the Southeast Aquatic Resource Partnership. This dataset is the result of clipping the feature class 'NFHAP 2010 HCI Scores and Human Disturbance Data for the Conterminous United States linked to NHDPLUSV1.gdb' to the boundary of the Southeast Aquatic Resource Partnership. Landscape factors include land uses, population density, roads, dams, mines, and point-source pollution sites. The source datasets that were compiled and attributed to catchments were identified as being: (1) meaningful for assessing fish habitat; (2) consistent across the entire study area in the way that they...

Using a combination of tabular and spatial data queries, we identified 129,773 flowlines in the hydrological framework of the National Hydrography Dataset Plus Version 1 (NHDPlusV1) that were created due to breaks in flowlines resulting from flowline intersection with quadrangle map boundaries. We found instances of this occurring in all 18 processing units of the NHDPlusV1 dataset. To aid in managing for this characteristic of the NHDPlus, we developed this EcoReach table (nhdplusv1_ecoreachv2.0.csv) that assigns all flowlines into units that are representative of ecological stream reaches. These "ecological stream reaches" may be defined by: stream origins, stream confluences, lake or reservoir inflows or outflows,...

This map service layer provides information for projects funded by the 20 regional fish habitat partnerships through the National Fish Habitat funds. Projects funded since 2006 are represented in the service layer and the data are expected to be updated annually. Projects in the database range from on-the-ground restoration, partnership coordination, outreach and education events, and species distribution and habitat assessments.
