This dataset represents 19,031 basin boundaries and their streamgage locations for the U.S. Geological Survey's (USGS) active and historical streamgages from the published dataset of Stewart and others (2006) and its subsequent updates (D.W. Stewart, USGS, written commun., 2011). Only the basin boundaries that were delineated within 15 percent of the basin area reported in the National Water Information System (NWIS) were included...

This data set consists of digital polygons of a constant hydraulic conductivity value for the alluvial and terrace deposits along the North Canadian River from Oklahoma City to Eufaula Lake in east-central Oklahoma. Ground water in 710 square miles of Quaternary-age alluvial and terrace deposits along the North Canadian River is an important source of water for irrigation, industrial, municipal, stock, and domestic supplies. The...

Estimates of land use categories are an essential component for computing the water budget of the High Plains aquifer. These raster land-use data represent yearly estimated land use for the High Plains from 1949 to 2008. These data were developed using the FOREcasting SCEnarios of future land cover (FORE-SCE) model (Sohl and others, 2007) and then processed using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The GIS software used to process...
A numerical groundwater flow model using MODFLOW-2005 was developed to examine predevelopment groundwater flow in eastern Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The model was calibrated to conditions before the 1960s, the period before modern pumping began. The model was used to evaluate the regional water budget and 4 potential recharge scenarios. This USGS data release contains all of the input and output files for the simulations described in the associated model documentation report (https://doi.org/10.3133/sir20185158). This data release also includes input and output data files for sensitivity and scenarios simulations, and MODFLOW-2015 source code.

Recharge in the Death Valley regional ground-water flow system (DVRFS) was estimated from net infiltration simulated by Hevesi and others (2003) using a deterministic mass-balance method. Hevesi and others (2003) estimated potential recharge for the DVRFS, an approximately 100,000 square- kilometer region of southern Nevada and California, using the net-infiltration model, INFILv3. Net infiltration, estimated on a cell-by-cell basis,...

This digital dataset defines the spring 1961 water-table altitude for the California's Central Valley. It was used to initiate the water-level altitudes for the upper zones of the transient hydrologic model of the Central Valley flow system. The Central Valley encompasses an approximate 50,000 square-kilometer region of California. The complex hydrologic system of the Central Valley is simulated using the USGS numerical modeling...
