Airborne radiometric survey, Boulder Batholith region, Montana, 2022

This data release provides digital flight line data for a high-resolution airborne radiometric survey over parts of Montana in the vicinity of the Boulder Batholith. The airborne survey was jointly funded by the Earth Mapping Resources Initiative and Kennecott Exploration Company. The survey was designed to meet complementary needs related to geologic mapping and characterization of mineral resource potential. A total of 34,041 line km of magnetic and radiometric data were acquired over an irregular-shaped area of 6178 km2. Field, Geochemical, Geochronological, and Magnetic Data from a Pliocene basalt flow along the Deschutes River in north-central Oregon

This dataset represents a variety of scientific measurements of basalt rock outcrops in central Oregon, United States. It consists of field observations, geochemical measurements, paleomagnetic directional measurements, magnetic susceptibility, and geochronology data (Ar-Ar methodology). This dataset was collected from 2014-2022 by the authors.

Stillwater Complex Strike and Dip Database (ver. 2.0, April 2024)

This shapefile includes strike and dip information for the area of the Stillwater Complex, located in southwestern Montana. This dataset was created from pre-existing digital strike and dip information and from digitizing strike and dip locations from georeferenced map images. The data includes information about the strike and dip locations; the geologic unit and rock type the measurement was taken on; information about the source map, such as map title and scale; and other miscellaneous information.
