The 'Big Ruth Area Mining Claims' file is part of the A. F. Budge Mining Ltd. Mining collection. A. F. Budge Mining Ltd., a British company owned by Tony Budge, controlled properties across several western U. S. states and northern Mexico. The company was active in Arizona during the 1980s and into the early 1990s. The collection consists of economic geologic information including maps, logs, reports and records. A few properties make up most of the collection: Vulture, United Verde Extension and Korn Kob.

The original time series and cross power data were stored in Binary format on 3.5" disks until further conversion was needed. To convert the time series and cross power data to a format that can be used for modeling, the original binary files were converted to ASCII format using Basic 4.0 code and associated subroutines (see Magnetotelluric_Original-Code_Binary-to-Ascii.txt and Magnetotelluric_Original-Code_Binary-to-Ascii-Subroutines.txt attached to the binary data ScienceBase item). The DaR project used these converted ASCII format files to create the EDI format files included in this data release. The binary data are considered the original data for the magnetotelluric survey, therefore, they are provided with...

Airborne electromagnetic (AEM), magnetic, and radiometric data were acquired in late February to early March 2018 along 2,364 line-kilometers in the Shellmound, Mississippi study area. Data were acquired by CGG Canada Services, Ltd. with three different helicopter-borne sensors: the CGG Canada Services, Ltd. RESOLVE frequency-domain AEM instrument that is used to map subsurface geologic structure at depths up to 100 meters, depending on the subsurface resistivity; a Scintrex CS-3 cesium vapor magnetometer that detects changes in deep (hundreds of meters to kilometers) geologic structure based on variations in the magnetic properties of different formations; and a Radiation Solutions RS-500 spectrometer that detects...
