Coral Reef Evaluation and Monitoring Project Florida Keys 1998

The purpose of the Coral Reef Evaluation and Monitoring Project (CREMP) is to monitor the status and trends of selected reefs in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary(FKNMS). CREMP assessments have been conducted annually at fixed sites since 1996 and data collected provides information on the temporal changes in benthic cover and diversity of stony corals and associated marine flora and fauna. The core field methods continue to be underwater videography and timed coral species inventories. AMMonitor: Remote wildlife monitoring for adaptive management

The AMMonitor community is a collaboration of remote wildlife monitoring projects whose media data (audio, photos, and video and their metadata) comprise a repository for use in (1) ongoing adaptive management and research of wildlife, and (2) the development of new predictive models, via machine learning, for the automated identification of target species from media. Each collaborating project uses the AMMonitor R package and database structure for pooling data under a unifying framework that meets high quality standards for rich metadata. In 1998, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) Fisheries Independent Monitoring (FIM) program began a long-term monitoring effort of key reef fish populations in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. BLM REA SNK 2010 Alaska Gap Analysis Project: Seasonal range maps for Caribou

This dataset consists of polygon range maps for terrestrial vertebrate species in Alaska. The maps are shapefiles between 0 and 12 MB in size to be used in OpenGIS or ArcGIS on a PC. Individual species range maps were developed using the best available known range of the species (derived from a variety of available point data sources), overlaid with watershed-scale units (8-digit HUCs; standard map for U.S. GAP project) for the state of Alaska in the Alaska Albers NAD83 projection. These maps present the data in the form that they were created in, are subject to change, and are freely available from the the Alaska GAP project.
