The purpose of the Coral Reef Evaluation and Monitoring Project (CREMP) is to monitor the status and trends of selected reefs in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary(FKNMS). CREMP assessments have been conducted annually at fixed sites since 1996 and data collected provides information on the temporal changes in benthic cover and diversity of stony corals and associated marine flora and fauna. During summer 2019, botanists with the Maine Natural Areas Program collected data from 94 vegetation plots for plant community characterization. The sampling data were entered into the National Park Service PLOTS version 4.0 (National Park Service 2018) for analyses to characterize vegetation associations in the U.S. National Vegetation Classification. An accuracy assessment was performed on the draft version of the vegetation map layer. The Fish and Wildlife Observation feature class represents observations of aquatic and terrestrial animals made by sight, sound, and other detection methods. It includes locations where animals were found. It does not include surveyed places where the animal was looked for and not found. Data originated primarily from the NRIS Wildlife and Aquatic Surveys applications. The feature class includes the observation location on land or water and the attributes defined in this document. Please note that all listed status fields are dependent on FS units having entered status information into the NRIS TAXA application. A null value does not necessarily indicate an unlisted status.
This digital dataset includes three sets of observational data (groundwater level, streamflow, subsidence) used to calibrate the updated Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM2). CVHM2 is a tool that can be used to quantify the sustainability of groundwater resources in the Central Valley.

The Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument Seboeis Unit Vegetation Mapping Project was initiated in the fall of 2019 by a grant through the USGS Natural Resource Preservation Program to classify and map vegetation types of the Seboeis Unit thereby providing resource managers and biological researchers with useful baseline vegetation information. This layer provides the vegetation map for the Seboeis Unit. Information for this layer was collected in 2019 and 2020. After completion of the accuracy assessment process, 33 map classes represent the Seboeis Unit of the monument.
