This protoype is a collaborative development effort between USGS Core Science Analytics, Synthesis, and Libraries and the USA National Phenology Network. It provides a shareable framework to develop and evaluate Biogeographic Analysis Packages (BAPs) that explore the timing of key seasonal changes in plants and animals from year to year on Department of Interior managed lands. This application runs on the same technology used to support the National Biogeographic Map (NBM). The software and data is considered provisional and subject to revision until it has been fully vetted by the USGS release process.
