Summary

These hand samples are an extensive collection of Cenozoic-age samples from the State of Ohio and soft sediment bottom samples from Lake Erie. 8,650 samples of unconsolidated Cenozoic-age sediment 2,054 samples from Lake Erie cores and grab samples The Cenozoic-age hand sample collection are inventoried and the resulting data base and Metadata was provided to the USGS and the public as part of the products to be delivered at the completion of Ohio's FY 2008 NGGDPP Grant Award.
