Primarily consists of various types of well and pertinent drillhole data in the form of Excel S/S. The well data includes successful and unsuccessful accounts of CBM exploration and production data and serendipitous encounters with the gas in the state since gas shows were noted in 1938. For example, the 570 page S/S compiled for wells from 1938-1989. The information was gathered from hard copy files from PaGS Pittsburgh office, Wells Information System, PA Internet Record Imaging System, North American CBM Forums, literature (includes historical gas contents and reference to coal analyses) and personal communication with the operators when available.
