Rolls of seismic profiles obtained from the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay as part of projects funded by the U.S. Minerals Management Service (MMS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), respectively. Rolls are either original thermal printer paper or photographic copies.
In addition to the specified uses of the collection, another possible use is sand/gravel evaluation. This collection has not yet been fully inventoried or cataloged.
