Summary

This data set was developed from a Bureau of Land Management database containing information on coal thickness from core samples, converted into a spatial database using kriging techniques. The data set covers the Little Thunder Creek watershed in the Powder River Basin, Wyoming. Each polygon is attributed with reference to a range of thickness describing the coal seam (measured in feet).
