Provenance

This layer package was created by Tamar Norkin (tnorkin@usgs.gov), as part of a data mining project for the Southern Rockies LCC.

Original data were downloaded from http://gapanalysis.usgs.gov/gaplandcover/data/download/. Human land use categories were isolated from the list of categories in the GAP land cover data set, and displayed in a new layer package (based on NVC level "formation").
