Dates

Date Taken
1870

Summary

Album caption and index card: Camp on Box Elder Creek, 12 miles west from Fort Fetterman, and but a short distance above its junction with the North Platte. Contrasting well with the rugged features of the ridge are the smooth terrace-like benches or tables, remnants, probably, of some higher levels not swept away. Converse County, Wyoming. 1870.
