Industrial mineral site no. 872, known as "Ahlstrom" is a site in Clallam County, Washington. This site has been associated with peat. A notation found in DGER Bulletin 37 on page 72 says "The area is 10 acres. The maximum thickness of Sphagnum is 1 foot. The maximum fibrous thickness is 5 feet".
