1) Develop predictive models of tree species distribution using Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) field measurements and available spatial data of potential predictor variables; 2) Predict future distributions of tree species by applying predictive models to estimates of future climate in combination with site factors; and 3) Build on predictive models by incorporating plot-level mortality and growth information and models of recent drought duration and severity.
