The Fifth Annual Pacific Northwest Climate Science Conference was held in Seattle, Washington from September 9-10, 2014. Funding through this project made it possible for 50 tribal staff and tribal students to attend the conference. Conference attendance and sponsorship ensures information-sharing and coordination among the Northwest Climate Science Center and its partners and stakeholders.

Purpose
The Fifth Annual Pacific Northwest Climate Science Conference was held in Seattle, Washington from September 9-10, 2014. The conference provided a forum for researchers and practitioners to convene and exchange scientific results, challenges, and solutions related to the impacts of climate on people, natural resources, and infrastructure in the Pacific Northwest. Financial contribution by the Northwest Climate Science Center (NW CSC) made it possible for 50 tribal staff and tribal students to attend the conference. Conference attendance and sponsorship ensures coordination among the NW CSC, the science and management communities of the Northwest, students and early career professionals, and members of Pacific Northwest Tribes.
