Purpose

The Fourth Annual Pacific Northwest Climate Science Conference was held in Portland, Oregon on September 5-6, 2013. The conference provided a forum for researchers and practitioners to convene and exchange scientific results, challenges, and solutions related to the impacts of climate on people, natural resources, and infrastructure in the Pacific Northwest. Financial contribution by the NW Climate Science Center (NW CSC) helped provide tribal scholarships for students and for members and staff of tribes. Conference attendance and sponsorship ensures coordination among the NW CSC, the science and management communities of the Northwest, students and early career professionals, and members of Pacific Northwest tribes. More information can be found at the conference official web site: http://pnwclimateconference.org.
