Overview The database was developed in support of an acoustic telemetry study being performed on diamondback terrapins (Malaclemys terrapin terrapin) inhabiting Wellfleet Harbor and environs, Wellfleet, MA. This is the northernmost population of this species, and it is listed as state-threatened under the Massachusetts Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Act. The study was performed in part to help assess the risk to individuals and the population that might be posed by a proposed dredging project in the federal and adjacent town anchorages of Wellfleet Harbor. adjacent town anchorages of Wellfleet Harbor. Data were logged by an array of fixed station receivers

locations and times logged. The database contains all data logged by the fixed receiver array, and by
mobile tracking. In addition there are data on receiver locations, tagging data (location, sex, size, etc.),
