Summary

Bathymetric data for the mainstem of the Nooksack River during low flow conditions from 24 to 27 August 2015. Depth data were collected with boat-mounted single-beam echo sounder downstream of Ferndale, Washington and a boat-mounted acoustic doppler current profiler (ADCP) upstream of Ferndale. Elevation of the instruments were determined with real-time kinetic global positioning system (RTK GPS). Irregular XYZ points were interpolated to a continuous grid using kriding methods in stream-wise coordinates and extended to the edge of water through the inclusion of points representing zero-depth locations in the kriging process.
