Purpose

These data describe the nest status, productivity, chick diet, and egg float stages of Black Oystercatchers (Haematopus bachmani) in the northern Gulf of Alaska. Data were collected from survey transects at sites nested in four sampling blocks: Kachemak Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Katmai National Park and Preserve, Kenai Fjords National Park, and western Prince William Sound. Study site locations are described in the "Monitoring Site Locations" data release: https://doi.org/10.5066/F78S4N3R (Coletti et al. 2017).
