Summary

This data file represents a compilation of existing water-quality data associated with abandoned underground-coal-mine aquifers in West Virginia. The first two lines of this file should be used for header information. Its intended use is as a reconnaissance tool for the purpose of directing future studies focusing on underground mine-pools. Data incorporated into this spreadsheet were obtained from multiple sources including government and academic institutions. Water-quality samples were collected from July 13, 1973 through September 7, 2016 by independent studies using multiple methods.
