Summary

Index card: Stranded pier along the south shore of Hebgen Lake. Broad sandy expanse (lower left corner of the photograph) is uplifted lake floor. The lake has been displaced to the right of northward. This view is westward, and the mountains are part of the south end of the Madison Range. Small fractures were formed as a aresult of slump. Hebgen Lake earthquake, Gallatin County, Montana. August 1959.
