This dataset is part of a suite of models depicting the predicted distribution of Arizona's wildlife species. These species distribution models were created to represent the historic, present, and potential distribution for an individual species. A specific set of parameters were used for each species distribution model including vegetation associations, elevational associations, slope associations, and known occurrences. All of the species distribution models were edited and reviewed by Department biologists before they became finalized. The species distribution models were created using the best available data at the time, and will be updated as data becomes available in the future.
